Our Policies
We see primarily dogs and cats, but we also do examine ferrets, mice, guinea pigs, rats, rabbits, hamsters, chinchillas and hedgehogs. Dr. Kim usually does not see birds or reptiles, but would be happy to try answering questions.
Payment at our office is expected when services are provided, unless prior arrangements are made. New clients will have to provide us with cash or a credit card. All routine services may be paid for using cash, check or a credit card. We take Mastercard, Visa and Discover. We also will not take a credit card for charges under $20.
Just a reminder that if your pet is critically ill and needs specific diagnostic tools such as imaging or specialized surgery, we will inform you, the client, of your options and recommend a suitable specialist or referral. The welfare of your pet and its care are our most important considerations.
Prescriptions are only refillable for our regular clients or visitors with a signed prescription from another veterinary clinic. We really appreciate a call ahead of time to prepare for refills. That way, the client's refill is ready when they arrive and we don't have to make them or the other clients in the office wait.
