Our Services
Appointments for medical services are available Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings and Tuesday and Thursday afternoons. We provide well pet visits which include a physical exam and any necessary vaccines. We also see sick patients for a variety of reasons and along with an exam, these patients may also have bloodwork performed, fecal exams done, ear infections treated, anal glands expressed, allergy testing performed or Xrays taken.
Surgery appointments for cats are available Monday and Wednesday and for dogs on Tuesday and Thursday. We perform routine surgical procedures such as spays and neuters, but we also perform dental cleanings, tumor removals, cat declawing, abdominal exploratories and more. The anesthetic we use for cats creates a pain-free experience, but recovery is slower so they sleep over one night. Dogs, however, can have surgery in the morning and be discharged by afternoon. We use sutures in cats and staples in dogs, with no charge to remove either post-operatively.
Other services include, but are not limited to:
- Bloodwork results - often within 24 hours, thanks to our in-house laboratory
- Electrosurgery Usage - cuts using an electric current, creates less bleeding and pain and a faster recovery time for surgery
- Lyme Disease testing and vaccination (over 95% protective against the disease)
- Products to prevent heartworm disease, flea or tick infestations
- Cat boarding and grooming
- Quill removal
- Diabetes diagnosis and monitoring
- Biopsies on tumors to assess the degree of cancer malignancy
- Casting broken bones
- Health Certificates
- Home Euthanasia (as the Dr.s schedule permits)
- Cremation services (performed by the Doctor and her husband, so you can rest assured that the ashes you choose to receive back are your animals)
In addition to the services provided above, we also have a retail area with many pet products, pet toys and prescription dog/cat food including Hills, Purina and IVD.
